SilverStone Technology, announced the immediate availability of its latest CPU cooler, the Heligon HE01. SilverStone Technology has always been active in the CPU cooler market in the past, the most notable are the Nitrogon series that provided high performance and compatibility. Many models have ultra low profile, making them prefect choices for compact home theatre PC's and small form factor cases.
The all new Silverstone Heligon HE01 CPU cooler is designed for top of the line performance and quietness without excess bulk. It is SilverStone's first all new design in 6 years. The Heligon series is named after the noble gas Helium, which in liquid form is one of the coolest matters (cooler than liquid Nitrogen, which the Nitrogon series was named after). The wide aluminum fin spacing is specially designed to minimize noise when air travels through.
The included adjustable 140mm fan has steeply raked fan blades thanks to its thick, 38mm profile enabling it to achieve not only high airflow but very high air pressure for its size. An integrated switch provides users with the option of running the fan in either power mode (500 ~ 2000rpm) or quiet mode (500 ~ 1200rpm) via PWM fan headers. If even more performance is desired and there are enough clearance, included fan clips can support installation for up to three 140mm fans.
The Heligon HE01 is the first of a whole new exciting line of high performance CPU coolers that SilverStone will be releasing in 2012.
