With the Chinese economy now taking a hit in the global downturn, a few of the big fabricators have started reaching out to sell the heatsinks they make for OEM vendor brands. Today Frostytech shines a light on Sunyon Industry Co. Ltd. out of friendly old Dongguan, just a bit north of Shenshen, China. Been there once, very nice country. Sunyon are produce heatsinks under the "Coolwhist" brand name.

First up is the 200W rated LH-022 heatsink.

Next is the Coolwhist CW-CPU932, which kind of reminds me of the Gelid Silent Sprit.

The CW-CPU929 is an odd duck heatsink; judging by the absence of a plenum around the embedded 90mm fan I think this isn't a very workable thermal solution.

Coolwhist CW-CPU930 is another familiar design based around four heatpipes and a 120mm fan. Minimum order is 20,000 units/month.

The 220W-rated Coolwhist CW-CPU922 heatsink is a performance thermal solution equipped with a low noise "20db" fan according the fabricators' specs. It stands 158mm tall and comes in any colour you want and runs about $23.
